The Rock Kuala Lumpur started in the year 1999 when Pastor Cyrus Gomez received a clear Word from GOD to pioneer a work right in the center of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. The church was to be called “The Rock” as it is established on the revelation of Jesus Christ, according to the Scriptures in Matthew 16:18.On 9 October 1999, the first service of The Rock Kuala Lumpur took place with a group of 5 people at a 250-square foot shop lot. The group met every Saturday evening and most members were youth and students.
Today, The Rock Kuala Lumpur is a multi-generational gathering of people comprising families, youth and children for the advancement of Kingdom purpose.
The Rock Kuala Lumpur is affiliated to the International Strategic Alliance of Apostolic Churches (ISAAC), a network of governing churches and ministers across the nations. Rev. Cyrus and Anna Gomez are spiritual sons of Dr. Jonathan David, the Presiding Apostle of ISAAC. Rev. Cyrus and Anna Gomez are the founding and senior pastors of The Rock Kuala Lumpur. They are covenant partners of the International Strategic Alliance of Apostolic Churches (ISAAC), a network of governing churches and ministers across the nations, and spiritual sons of Dr. Jonathan David, the founder and the Presiding Apostle of ISAAC.
Rev. Cyrus and Anna Gomez travel to different nations to train marketplace leaders under the covering of ISAAC. Rev. Cyrus and Anna Gomez are also the chairing advisors at Impact Academy, a homeschooling centre focused on raising the younger generation as leaders with Kingdom character and values. They live in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and are blessed with a son, Jose Joel Gomez.
